To call Lamar’s follow up to 2012’a Good Kid, M.A.A.D City anticipated is an understatement, his sophomore LP be a hard act to follow. Quoted by Flaunt magazine as saying “There’s some music I’ve been listening to that I haven’t really been talking about. I haven’t been listening to any rap for the last six months. I bought the whole Isley Brothers collection.
